The well is situated on the premises of Bruce and Hyslop on Well lane, just off Park St in Bootle
My late husband used to work there many years ago and I remember him telling me about it.

Yeah I've had many a good night in the Merton too, but much prefered the Jawbone, I must admit its been ages since I was down in Bootle village but can still remember a few good weekends down there.

Sorry Norm but I have to disagree, the Unity building is way superior to the two blocks of the Braddocks, they were bland, grey, and depressing and no community spirit in them at all, I saw them...
