I went to Boaler St, New Hutte, Colwell and West Derby Comp. Our headmaster at West Derby was Tom Saunders who was also the manager of Liverpool and England schoolboys footy teams. He went on to become Youth Development Officer with Liverpool FC.

I loved Mr Craine (can one write that without sounding gayish?), our French teacher at West Derby Comp which is probably why I love France so much. Apart from Paris obviously. Horrible people

    Dovedale Primary School

    Rose Lane (Morrison) Secondary Modern

    Quarry Bank High School

I have a very dim memory that I may have been very briefly in Duncombe Road Primary School in Garston before we moved from Lynas Gardens off Darby Road to Bromley Avenue off Greenbank Road and I attended Dovedale. Hmmmm, have to ask me owld Mum about that. . .

Lidderdale for a little bit, then Pleasant Street(the old building) and onto Morrison Primary which Is now Greenbank Primary(also Lidderdale Is now part of It). Finally Calderstones.

Glad Schools over hated Calderstones the most though and I'd flip the finger at certain teachers from there If they said hello. I never walked out of classes till I went to Calderstones.

The schools were full of cowards who would ever touch me on their own.

I started of as a little un at Leamington Road in Norris Green.
On to Croxteth C.P and then Abbotsford Road.
The last one was West Derby Tech.I started there on the day it first opened.
What a s*** of a school that was.The headmaster was Alf Casson who we christened The Bat cos that's what he looked like walking through the place with his black gown flowing.

I went to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Primary, and then we moved to West Kirby, so I went to Black Horse Hill Primary....and then we moved back (are you keeping up?) so I went to Dovedale Primary....

Then I went to Bellerive FCJ...which used to be St Mary's...

Boaler Street for me, then off to St Margret's in Aigburth.

It was a shame when they demolished Boaler Street school - had fond memories of the school. I hope they filled in the swimming pool in the basement before they started building on the site

I started at Florence Melly, then we moved to Stoneycroft and went to Lister Drive primary, then Childwall Valley High.. sadly I don't think any of these school are still standing .. I know Childwall Valley is now a housing estate and I think Flo Smelly was rebuilt elsewhere.
