Hey i hope they do build a virgin gym, they are much cheaper. To be honest, liverpool is crying out for a major city centre gym.....would be good if they could redevelop the area around lime st/cannon/wetherspoons building as some kind indoor leisure area including a gym, bars, restaurants etc, like the printworks in manchester. The buildings are the same style and that has done quite well. It would be an excuse to develop what is a tired group of buildings.

Liverpool does seem to stick its leisure facilities in daft places. Total fitness in edge lane is crying out for members, its to difficult to reach unless you drive. David lloyd, greens, all car-orientated and dont take advantage of the city living which is increasing. Other than that you have the cramped lifestyles at lcc, or expensive hotel gyms.......there is a defo gap in the market, our manchester friends have six city centre gyms.
