My son and i got thinking about the Baltic Fleet. Why on earth was trade with the Baltic based on the west coast - about as far from the Baltic as you can get in the UK? Surely it would have been more sense to base the Baltic Fleet on the east coast?



Or is the pub named after the Imperial Russian Navy?
