Hi Norm & Paddy,
I hope you dont mind my butting in, I was born and bred in 6 Mill veiw
in Woolton, served my time and worked at "Bear Brand" as a Joiner,
from 1947 to 1968. Agreat place to work and I agree the girls where second
to non. My g/father had the Black Horse at one time.
Norm was you FF, or Seamless,
Some of the names might ring a bell Joe Martindale a grt guy Sid Hill the
dapper dandy Tom Froud, Ben Staff,Letty Edwards, George Davis,
Jock Hildich, Bill Dunn.
I hope these will jog a few memories.
