Thanks Mandy, its amazing what was out there many years ago.....

there's a swing park in Richmond Park, Anfield - I've been told that it is the site of a former quarry. Could be true as the playground is in a sort of a hollow with a street (Sedly st) high above it.



There was a quarry too by where Anfield rd junior school is.
