Kebabman...
Absolutely brilliant. Love the photographs.
Looks great on the shop wall too. I work in New Brighton and very often pop in for a sausage dinner late on. See you soon mate.

Kebabman is right, Woodside is a great view. If you walk along to monk's ferry and upto the Priory, you can go up the tower (when open, of course) and get really good views there too. I know ScouserDave has been there, have seen the photo's on here to prove it![]()

My mate has just moved in to the Unity Building and currently has access to the Penthouse while they are still finishing it off. As soon as I go up, I'll take me camera and snap away!
That pic of Daves, msg 158 is practically the same position as Snappels on the Merseyside winter wonderland thread with icy railings.
Probably the same spot where Snappel took his pic, except I zoomed in. Notice the storm approaching? It peed down ten minutes later.

That's a great view -
all those colours...
all that concrete....
all that hard labour...
Magnifico.
The icy railings one wasn't from the top though, it was half way up the 'steps', just below the penthouses...
Look at the Pru and the other, is it the Pearl - great towers on Dale ST.
The gold one is the Royal Insurance Building. Exploring that was a treat and a half. All of it, from the stunning city views in the tower to the air-raid shelter in the basement. I'm annoyed they sealed it up, but on the plus side at least it's safe from vandals...
Ah yes, the Royal. Didn't I hear that they were the only insurance company to pay out on the Titanic. That Sweeting street/Elbow Lane is a quaint little place surrounded with the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
