My dad is from soho street, and went to the friary school, he used to live in 8b queen anne place, loads of the family lived in queen anne place too, we have tried to find old pictures and have had no luck.
Yer welcome Pixie,Im from down the Rd from the Squares in Gerard Gardens and still live in the Area,,I knocked about in the Four Squares and still see some of the Lads from there..Used to bevvie in the Soho and Pat Molloys and the Wellie..Yer Old fella will remember Pat Molloys..

He spent most of his childhood sitting outside kings pub waiting for me grandad, who only went in to get the time (as if ). He says he remembers pat molloys well. Me grandad worked in keezers (dont know how it was spelt) it was the glass place in st anne street. After the squares they moved out to the country (crocky) it was dead posh then.
Pixie,I'll have t' find the photies and sort them out and it might be a while just in case yer waitin' so it might be T'morrer before I put them on.
My grandad died a couple of years ago, but my dad will remember her and probably her lad as well.
Yep, they lived in the flats there. No problem waiting for the photies, me dad will be delighted. I am slow with the typing so am mixing all the threads up, sorry. One of my good mates was from gerard gardens, moved to croky and thn back to holy cross.
