Hi chas, i remember that row of shops on that side of Prescot Street ,cos i used to pass them going to and from the Collegiate. The ones i remember best are the music shop come second hand shop were my brother sold a violin that he found off Kensington in one of the derelict houses [or Bombdies as we used to call them] ....looking back it may well have been a Stradivarius but our kid didnt care cos he got a ten bob note for it! The other one i distinctly remember was at the top corner with Low Hill, it was a paint manufacturers shop. Sorry Savo that's not helping you much though is it ? hope someone else can be more useful than me
