The area around the old W.C. is due to be cleared soon, for better facilities. There are several large stone blocks scattered around Otterspool. Some have the remains of railings, some others have grooves. Pretty hefty, they could be from the dock/dam?

In regard to those large slabs of sandstone that Marky showed and wondered if they were from the dock/dam that used do be at the mouth of the old Otterspool as shown in Griffiths' History of the Royal and Ancient Park of Toxteth, to my mind, there's a good likelihood that's where they are from. Particularly the big piece of sandstone with the notch in it could have been from the lock gate, conceivably.
