Great to see those old shots of the Cafe and "promenade" at Sefton Park. It was a great place for us kids in the 50's and 60's to roam around in. Just around the corner from the cafe was the Bird Aviary, it was always worth a visit to see the exotic species kept there. From there we used to visit the Jolly Rodger Pirate ship and the Peter Pan statue. great memories. Many thanks.
