Excellent video... but I'm gutted. I scrolled down the list and saw the Rathbone hospital demolition video. I checked that place out as an urban exploration 'lead' earlier this year and it all appeared to be in use. And now a load of it's gone - or maybe it all has? Anyone know anything?
Went past the road next to it only last week and it was all intact. I know it's a big site - I take it this is the one on Mill Lane next to the burnt out showroom?
Just been watching Birth of the Beatles, alot of footage of Liverpool in it!
Exciting!!!!
I took some very dodgy shots on my camera phone, and that's the best quality I can get I am afraid!
Is that the David Lewis Hostel I spot??????
Also, the Flower Pot shop is on Northumberland St...as are the shots looking down the terrace street...
The back alley, I assume is Allerton...
One nice segment in this video is the Punch and Judy show run by Codman's that was for years at the side of St. George's Hall but is shown here in their later location in Williamson Square. Also the street prayer meeting and Barrel Organ Phil -- new to me. Are those Morris Dancers really in Liverpool? I wonder if there is any more video of the old Punch and Judy show? I have started a separate thread on Codman's and the Punch and Judy show (go to Codman's Punch and Judy Show).
