the barmaid is bra-less
and you may spit on the rug

the door's never locked
and the fire's real coal
the cellar's well stocked
and there's steak in a roll

the old guys are hopeless
at any bar game
the ladies are guileless
in the pub with no name

The one time I drank in
this heaven on earth
was a day I was gaspin'
for all I was worth

All there gave ovation
and were glad that I came
how'd you ask for direction
to the pub with no name?

And the motto of this paradise
was simply, "when in Rome"
