There are only 2 houses in the street now,but there where more,as my mother lived in Benson st,as a child!

Were they large houses ? like the Georgian type around Hope st ?

I've no idea,other than they were "big" houses,so I'd guess at Victorian? The only other house left,is this one,which is next to your pic',but this looks Georgian? I'd like to see some history on the larger house,as it's pediment is quite ornate,as you can see in my pretty gross pic'of same!(no zoom)
