A Ninja would do 5 floors a week.

Where was that picture taken from? These Pictorial people sound like Ninjas to me.

    Cheers Kev.

It amazes me how the Empire State Building rose 4 and half floors a week.

Ignore that question ... I just seen the answer in another thread.

but has anyone seen the writing on the Mersey View rocks ? I've got a picture somewhere, I'll root it out.

Thats mad!! On my desk I have one of those postcards from the Rockefeller building - you know, with all the guys sitting on an iron girder. I wonder what todays HSE would make of that...

I was playing about with a panorama stitcher last night and came up with this, from about 6 pictures of the tower. I take no credit for the work, Autostitch did it all by itself...

Does anyone ever go to Frodsham? We used to walk the dog around the woods on the hill. There's a stone memorial there too but I've forgotten what it's for.

My mum moved there 10 years ago and has wanted to move back ever since- too far out of town and the Runcorn bridge is a nightmare. The memorial is dedicated to all those from the town that dies in the 2 world wars.

I've got a large book (bought from the ESB shop) full of photos of the construction workers building the ESB similar to your postcard. I believe they used to employ a certain tribe of Indian because they weren't afraid of heights.

    Great pic by the way.

They are amazing. Not sure if it's true but I was told it was something to do with their genes re lacking fear of heights.
