The Children`s Chapel in Christ the Kings cathedral. The sculpture is by Stephen Foster and is a gift from a member of the Liverpool Chinese Community.
The tapestry is by Jill Hutchison and was inspired by the Formby coastline where she lives

More fine photos Joe, many family connection reminders for me. I particularly liked your shot of SFX with the two cathedrals, showed what a great perspective eye you have.

At least this beautiful building is still standing. I believe the RC archdiocese were all for demolishing this gem. I seem to recall it will be used as practice space for the Liverpool Philharmonic

It is being Taffy. Kay Kelly is the lady who refreshes the flowers on the railings and it's she whose actions went a long way to saving the church. It has Titanic connections and the benefactor brought Rome to the congregation who could not afford to go to Rome.
