A very good site. I used to live in Swan Hill Villa in the 1950/60's. A very damp old house, long ago demollished. I believe that is was the farm house for Swan Hill Farm. It was owned by the Scraggs Tripe family, the tripe works being to the rear.
Where was this house sited Hutch ?

Thats a really good site, I'll be having a good look at it again.
Well done and thanks for all that hard work!
It was on Rathbone Road, on the corner with Borax Street. It was originally built of sandstone, but in the fifties it was coated in concrete to keep the damp out. It appears on the 1830's map on your site, very close to Elms House.
