despite it being so close I've not actually been down that part of Hawthorne Rd.

I did wonder if that Co-op sign had been uncovered recently. There are still some screws embedded into the tiles, where it had been covered over by something.

Church St - I mentioned a few weeks back about the old Woolies sign that used to be on the side of their original Church St store. I thought it had completed faded, but this evening the sun just caught the building enough for it to been seen. I can't remember exactly the phrase, it was summat like 2 penny stores.

Just legible 25 years ago when I snapped it.
(Because the building housed the Tatler cinema.)

Vrey nice indeed, but that sign looks a bit sus to me.
It's been repainted recently, that's obvious.
Mind you, if they're still in business, they would say "Why not?".
