Interesting house in the Mossley Hill area of Liverpool
why is the anchor in the carpark? shouldn't it be a bit closer to the sea or maybe on a ship or equivilant site.[IMG]

It`s only yards from a ship repairing yard which used to be Cammel Lairds
the way they are positioned I think they might have been put there as a monument but have been overgrown with weeds

Thanks for the comment about the photo. The house featured on a Sherlock Holmes TV series a few years ago. Yes it's on Elmsley Rd which comes off North Mossley Hill Rd. This part of Liverpool is truly delightful.

I caught a glimpse of this chap and knew he was watching me, and I had the feeling that he thought I hadn't seen him, so I pretended to take a photo of something in the direction he was looking, and then turned round quickly and snapped him without composing the picture, whick luckily turned out rather well.
He dived inside as soon as he saw me facing him, but too late!
I think its called Eden Square - its between Hatton Garden and Cheapside.
haunting people with a camera is not as bad as with a shotgun.
