I've been at a Culture Company meeting and there's many more buildings they're planning to wrap in this "wrapping paper" including all the Lime Street ones in front of the station, some in Williamson Square and (not sure I agree with this one) the Port of Liverpool Building. I deffo think we need a thread on here with pics of the city as she is "wrapped." Perhaps the wrapping will become an attraction in its own right? Mmm I can feel a guided tour coming on!

Hello Julie

I was in the city in 2003 when St. George's Hall, while undergoing renovation, was "wrapped" with the graphic of John Lennon as the Mona Lisa and some prankster cut out Lennon's eye. I wrote a poem about it, "John Lennon's Eye". I suggest that this "wrapping" is a bit too transparent and obvious, although I suppose it serves the purpose of hiding something temporarily.
