I remember going on a tour of the cathedral as a kid and finding the mouse. I was in there at the weekend and started wondering how many other people also know its location.
If you do reply with a yes. If not PM us and we might tell you!!

Someone pointed it out to me once.
Can't be dead certain exactly where it is though.
I've sort of got a vague idea.
Hmmmmmm.... are we talking about a real mouse or a carved mouse???

We're all talking about a carved/forged one Chris.
We've obviously stumbled on your hobby of chasing rodents around religious buildings LOL!!![]()
Thanks for clarifying, Matt!

Matt.
Are you going to tell all now?
Or do we have to start guessing?
Is it on a famous statue?
". . . the architect of Lord Derby's tomb claimed that no self-respecting church mouse would live there. As a result, he incorporated a mouse into the design of the tomb - it's just under Lord Derby's pillow."

I thought it was on a tomb .. but I didn't want to say incase I was wrong and made a fool of myself !![]()
It was in the back of my mind - but I wouldn't have known who was in the tomb.![]()
Same here, Lindy.
I knew it had something to do with Lord Derby, but couldn't remember the story.
Thanks, Chris.
I saw a kid in there - about 1989, I went back last year for the first time since and it's a fully grown goat now.
