Great pics Joe. Just been on your site. Fantastic pictures, you have an eye for a good shot. I have to look twice at places I know well, cos you shoot them at unfamiliar angles. Love it.

Marine Engine Room Men memorial, Pierhead, Liverpool. Also felt to be originally a memorial to the lost Titanic engine room men. Isle of Man Ferry and Fred Olsen Lines cruise ship Black Watch in the background

New Sony Centre, Liverpool 1 shopping complex. Interesting shop specialising only in Sony products. Nice to see this old building has been preserved for modern use including the American Eagle
Who nicked the eagle then?!!!
Earth is the insane asylum for the universe.
Good one Lenka.
That pic could go in the Cobbled Streets thread too
Keeping it real!

That's a good one Ged.
Thanks Pablo. Quite a few people up there and you can well imagine that 5 seconds later and this plane is right over your head and the noise when it touches down and goes into reverse thrust to stop itself.
To our right, the planes come right up to you then turn when taxi-ing for take off. The noise then is even louder as they rev up for take off. I still wonder how they ever get off the ground, it's quite frightening really.
I was on a carrier once and the noise that was happening there was almost electric. The fast jets were coming and going with their afterburners on, helicopters hovering around. Jeez, five minutes there and I never knew whether I was coming or going. Great experience though.
Sounds adventurous.
