    Default All Great Pics!

Looks nice Taffy, as do all the recents photo's of Liverpool, posted by all you guys on Yo! It's hard for me to relate to some of the area's shown in the pics , so much different from what I remember back in the 50's. But must say that the city and all the area's shown are looking great!!! so much better than what I remember it to be.

Thanks Steve! I peruse all the Liverpool sites, and enjoy them all! especially the photo's. not having any real problems, it's just that things have changed so much I find it hard to relate to some of those well known area's. The pic that Taffy posted just this day, of Dingle waterfront area is .nothing' like what i remember, and I knew the area very well! having driven taxis' from both Lark Lane and South Hill Street fo some years! So keep on with the pics all of you! Its great for me, and I appreciate all the efforts, Cheers

    Grassendale Esplanade, Garston, Liverpool.

Do you remember this one Norm NZ? Shouldn't think it's changed much since you left Liverpool.

Thanks Taffy! I sure do remember it, and yes! it has'nt changed much. I used to mate with a school friend who lived in Salisbury Rd Grassendale, and we roamed around that area quite a bit.
And for George: Can't say I do! but that work may have started sometime later, OR was further up towards Aigburth? Cheers
