I would like to know more about that case.
I have read alot about it, but I don't feel I know it alot...

Clubmoor Picture House (Townsend Lane). Lily Lloyd (Parry's girlfriend) played the piano here. It opened on Saturday, 31st October, 1925.

Front page of the Walton Times publicising the event. It closed its doors as a cinema on July 2nd, 1960.

I managed to get a copy of it. It was originally published in the Evening Express.
I received an e-mail from a woman (last year I think it was) stating that she was related to Wallace (great-niece I think). I wrote back to her but have heard nothing since. I think she was genuine. Wallace's nephew (Edwin) had family that I believed moved to South Wales. I wrote in to the Liverpool Echo for anyone who has connections with the case to contact me but only received one reply (and another from a man whose family's home looks on to the back of 29 Wolverton Street).

A bit disappointed to say the least. Maybe some didn't see it - maybe some don't want anything to do with it...

Hmmm..I think Scousers like to talk about things that have gone on here good or bad. As for Wallace's family- maybe you're right about them not wanting to speak. Alot of them might not know they are related!:shock:

Why don't you try and get on Radio Merseyside for a few mins to put some feelers out for info? They have a great track record as you well know!

Yes, I've been thinking about contacting Radio Merseyside regarding contacts. I know it was Billy Butler who appealed for any information regarding Lily Lloyd leading up to the Wallace Radio City show that aired in 1981.
