The Children`s Chapel in Christ the Kings cathedral. The sculpture is by Stephen Foster and is a gift from a member of the Liverpool Chinese Community.
The tapestry is by Jill Hutchison and was inspired by the Formby coastline where she lives

The final pic is the Lourde`s Grotto with the brass memorial to the men of the parish who died in the first world war
More fine photos Joe, many family connection reminders for me. I particularly liked your shot of SFX with the two cathedrals, showed what a great perspective eye you have.

St Mary of the Angels on Fox St,sadly closed now, despite a long stuggle by the congregation to keep it open. The doors are still decorated with flowers and pictures.
It is being Taffy. Kay Kelly is the lady who refreshes the flowers on the railings and it's she whose actions went a long way to saving the church. It has Titanic connections and the benefactor brought Rome to the congregation who could not afford to go to Rome.
