I prefer the old looking London Rd .
I'm not sure if they are or not, but on our explore around town we noticed that perhaps Lutyens crypt is built on the foundations of the old workhouse or are these purpose made foundations for the crypt?

The old Fruit Exchange buildings in Victoria St are being rennovated. A grade 2 listed building built in 1888 to recieve railway goods from the old Exchange Station,

Scaffolding being erected around Lewis`s building today in preparation for it`s makeover,don`t think they will finish it for Xmas though.
This part of the Central village scheme,it will consist of a large hotel ,shops and bars

Yes, those were the warders quarters next to the prison.
The Sessions house became the Labour Museum but since the NMGL closed down certain underused galleries, it has become vacant. We had the chance of moving into the caretakers flat belonging to this building but in the end, the vacancy came up for the flat attached to Blackburn Chambers on Dale st and we moved there.
