I went to Archbishop Whiteside, which changed to St. Brigids in 1982. Our head at "Archie" was a very fair bloke called Mr. McCahy, and the deputy head was a Mr. Connolly, who was a really tough, but very fair man, who was also as wise as he was austere!! Wish I was back there now!!

hello each, just popped in on your school conversation. I went to a mouthful called Prince Rupert Sec. Mod. Sch. for Boys, but we all called it Margie, short for Margaret Street where it was in Everton near to Mill Road Hospital, anyone know it?
Yeah, we used to go to Margie Street Baths with our school. Freezin' it was.
I went to Wade Deacon there was a demarcation between scousers (huyton and halewood) and the woolybacks widnes and great sankey people.
There were defo two factions there.
