spotted this in Atlantic Rd, Bootle this afternoon. only cut through there to take a photo of a bus...as you do...
they are a pair of hands from an old Co-op rather roughly shoved into a gap at an old warehouse. clearly not an original part of the building as bricks are different, but at least they still survive. funny marks on first pic is rain

I've walked past that by the bullring many times and never noticed that there was a plaque. I'll have to take a closer look!

normally on Co-op's they are quite high up so nice to be able to get a decent view without having to lose quality on the zoom.
they tend to be on the earlier stores like the Eaton Rd and West Derby Rd branches...which I've posted in another thread but will add them here...
