    Default Fazakerley Cottage Homes

Built in 1888-89 as a childrens home. It had 24 buildings known as cottages,
each housing 25 children plus a house mother and a house father. Now taken over by the NHS for various functions. Each cottage is now called by a flower or tree name. I should think there are many still living in Liverpool now who
    resided there.

    3-One of the cottages

I beleive the cottages named after the trees and plants actually have the trees and plants in their front gardens.

Not that I am an expert or anything on that kind of thing but I go down there often and noticed that all the trees are different types.
