    Default Rice lane

Anyone remember 'the throstles nest', not the pub. but the road or alley leading from Rice lane to Walton Hall Park, just by the Dunlop factory?

Used to cut through there to the park, to play football at lunchtime, when I was an apprentice at Dunlops.

    Hi Tippo,
Yes - same Kevin! Stayed at sea for 13 years - best thing I ever did. Came back ashore in 1985.
    Cheers,
    Kevin

    PS
The only joiner I recall lived out Cronton way - was that you?
