    Smile WW2 Ormskirk.

    Does anyone know please of an Army Camp at Ormskirk what was it called etc as my Dad was Stationed there in 1942...

    There was a display in Ormskirk Library about it a few months ago.
    It could still be there.
    I didn't pay too much attention, I'm sorry to say.

    We keep our old buses on the old airfield at Burscough.

    which was RNAS HMS Ringtail. Don't know whether this is

    the same as there was quite a community surrounding the

    airfield.
