    Default Anfield District

Thought I'd start this thread after the latest details of one of the largest urban park restoration schemes in the UK were unveiled.

    Hi

yes Stanley Park, still say it should have been built out of the city. OK we
know if they did local business would suffer badly, but as per usual more
    green space being taken away....

Let's also hope some money gets spent on renovating Anfield Cemetery. This splendid place is looking very down at heel at the moment. I underdstand that Anfield was once spelt Ann Field. I wonder who Ann was? A family relative, William ****son, once owned Anfield House.

Took this today of the Gladstone Conservatory, which will hopefully look far better after the restoration.
