    On Turning Sixty-Two, January 10, 2010

I'm thirteen years younger than Elvis
--and he's very much dead. Instead,

I'm still alive, savoring each minute, got
my ticket to ride, not prepared to rot.

I know I have enemies who derride,
Mateys, take a firebrand up yer nose.
Why d'you suppose I would give it up?

    Default Chrises Birthday

A very happy birthday Chris and I know how you feel , as one gets older one doesnt give a toss what people think , I know I dont , I have been there and done that , and I often think when speaking to people younger than me ,with attitude, that they may never reach my age in life, and as I turn 68 in April I look back on life , and think that I have had a wonderful life.and maybe should be in the Guiness book of records as the only band from Liverpool or anywhere to perform in a West End Musical, Lionel Barts ( Maggie May) not a lot is known about my band in the sixties, I think that we where the best band at the time in Liverpool We were called The Nocturns, and anyone who was in the scene at the time will remember us. I have many claims to fame but will discuss this at a later date . Cheers Keith .
