    This is "rural" Kirkby, by Mill Brook. Notice the pack horse bridge sadly gone now and replaced with a steel one.
    Taken in 1967 so my kids are all 40 now.

    Ah i've just noticed that Gregs Dad is 'exacta' on Flickr. Check out his photos coz some of them are brilliant especially the Liverpool return with the cup in 1965 and the Police Bikes turning into Lime St station. Fabulous! My mate was overwhelmed with excitement when he saw them as he is the Merseyside Police archivist of Liverpool Police vehicles.

    Took this one in Newsham park Feb 07.
    The only day it snowed last year.

    Very nice. It could be a scene for a Christmas card

    excellent pic, i used to play in that field and jump over that river, back when i was young and a summers day would last a lifetime
