Great photographs, everyone! Keep 'em coming! Incidentally, I see there is now a Liver Birds group on Flickr. It is at http://www.flickr.com/groups/66119284@N00/

does anybody know whers this liverbird is or/and where it came from?
I was just doing a goole on liver birds and there it was on a web site called liverpool monuments. They didn't know where it came from or where the picture was taken either. But they wanted help finding out so I thought I'de ask in here.
I took this photo for one of our challenges on the Yo Liverpool forum to take a picture of a bottle but I may as well post it in this thread as well due to the Liver Birds in the shot. The stoneware ginger beer bottle at left is offset with two cards from Liverpool, one showing the Roman Catholic Cathedral, the other a Christmas card with Liver Bird, a Higson's beer mat with Liver Bird, an old pound note, a wooden box with my Grandad's medals from the First World War and his cap badge from the Lancashire Fusiliers, and an old clay pipe bowl I found in my grandparents' Mossley Hill garden.

Is the Banks Rd one still being used?
Would be a nice photo If It's painted too.

Knew if I looked hard enough I would find one in amongst my late dads treasure box as he called it >>>>>>>>
Not the best of pics, just took it with my webcam. This one is silver in colour but he had a brass one at one time cos I can remember cleaning it for him with Brasso.
