I own copyright to these old Liverpool photos.. and I have lots of them..
These are not from the batch of old photos I recently came across..
that lot are over 100 years old... and I'll mention on here when I put them on my website..

This one shows the lighting column by the Queensway tunnel entrance...
it was designed by Herbert Rouse... the Mersey Tunnel architect..
It was 60ft high and was made from reinforced concrete and polished granite... there was one either side of the Queensway Tunnel... the Birkenhead one is still there.... the one in the photo on the Liverpool side ended up smashed to pieces in the old Corpy bin yard off St Domingo Road.
This shows the 'Lannie' at the Pier Head....
This was taken in 1953.. and shows Liverpool celebrating in the Queens Coronation year..
This one shows the Over Head Railway and Liver Building..
