Dear All,

Just for your information, the K6 Telephone Kiosk on Hampstead Road, Fairfield, L6 has been removed (and not replaced) within the last couple of weeks. It was pictured in my post (#88). The last photograph I have of it was dated 2nd March 2011.

Lets hope all the others are still intact!

Just spotted this today.



It appears to be in the yard behind The Tunnel Furniture Company on the corner of Tunnel Road / Chandos Street, L7.

If it does belong to them and it's not too expensive, I'm buying it!

I hope this isn't too far off track for this thread. These are the former Liverpool (L) postcode kiosks that were 'annexed' by The Wirral in 1999 and became CH (L41 to L66).

Again, these are the 'classic' metal style K6 kiosks only.

To my knowledge, there are at least 32 examples in 30 locations. I will attempt to post these up by postcode area.

I have many other similar photographs of the other Chester (CH) areas, notably in and
around Chester itself and Flintshire/Denbighshire although these are outside the scope of this thread.
