Liverpool.. the way I see it.. the photographs of Gerard Fleming.

What Gerrard has failed to do by putting these photographs on the net is adding there names, age , where do they originate from ?, why are they here ?, how does family and friends get in touch?, contact details?, how can we help ?

Who am I to question or judge Gerard's motives ? I don't doubt his intentions for one second, they are to highlight the plight of the Homeless, this he has done in his own way. I would question myself as I do frig-all to help them, what do you do to help them Johnny ??

I will tell you what I do ,

I am a qualified paid Project support worker, dealing with the P.O.V.A, and P.O.V.C (Protection of Vulnerable Adults and children respectivley addressing problems at early intervention, meeting Young and Vulnerable People’s Housing and Support Needs, committed to Safeguarding and Promoting the Welfare of Children and Adults who have problems with substance abuse and misuse (drugs) and alcohol.

In doing this I work on the principles of 'Every Adult Matters'

• Improved physical and mental health
• Improved quality of life
• Improved independence, choice and control

In addition giving the emotional support in gaining there own self esteem, giving them power from dependent to independent living, Once I have assessed an individual support needs , I make referrals to the relevant agencies in enabling the service user in adjusting back into mainstream living, D.A.T. (drug and alcohol referral team) C.A.M.H.S. (Adult mental health service), however this does not work for all just most.

That is a quick thumbnail of what I do, .......

So dont ever question my annoyance and frustration of seeing vulnerable people being photographed just to be added to a website,... I hate exploitation and diservice.

If you want to help, give Mr Fleming a donation so he can take it to the 'Whitechapel Centre' in Liverpool so he can say this is on behalf of "Liverpool the way I see it"

I think we all hate the exploitation of Vulnerable Adults and children, the problem is that most of us ignore it, pass it by, nothing to do with us, you do something and that is admirable as well as very difficult work. Some of us may try to help in our own way and it may well not be seen as ideal or even proper to professionals, nevertheless, the motive is an honest one. I think Gerard, trying to do what he though was in their interests, should be applauded, there was no gain !

I wouldn't know Stevie mate..


I hope he's more sincere at his job than the way he came across to me
on the only occasion we met..

The limp wristed, half hearted handshake..
and the "Oh your photos are great.." while looking at the floor......
and the way he could not stop looking at me with this grin on his face..
from 50 yards away gave the game away about johnny blue, to me.

I may not have the diplomas and certificates he has..
I dont need them Steve..
my instinct has never, ever let me down on people.
I can spot insincere/un-genuine people a mile away..
50 yards away in johnny blues case..
I can read them like a book mate.. without fail !!

And I am well onto johnny blue and all this he's up to on here...

I've said I've finished with all this as long as he has..

..I sent It. I sent it to a few others as well. Hoping to drum up interest for Smurfy's league.

And I deleted a lot of messages as people on here were trying to contact me over
photos I'm doing for them.... 5 people I think could not get through...

I genuinely forgot who sent that message... I get about 50 a day through Emails..
