It's a lesser known natural history fact, that there were more crabs at Cleveland Square, than around the rocks of New Brighton's lighthouse.

One memory I have as a kid is dropping my sand-bucket full of crabs all over the floor of the bus going back to New Seacombe landing stage. Poor women screamed her head off.

The only known cure for crabs is two pour 2 pound of sugar down the front of your trousers, it doesnt kill them just rots their teeth.
