When the smoke has cleared and the bullets cease.another soldier rests in peace. The politicians who caused the fight, rest at home no danger in sight
An interesting interview. I'm sure I heard George Skelly say he was working on a book about the case. I certainly hope so.
I had a video by Vincent Burke a few years ago on which he discussed the Devlin and Burns case.
I hope justice is finally done soon.
Yes George is indeed working on a book about Devlin and Burns and is seeking to get the Criminal Cases Review Commission to put the case before the appeal court. Balmer was up to his tricks again on this one as the Cameo case provided a blueprint for this one too.
I've seen and heard Vincent Burke on the Devlin & Burns case. But Vincent merely regurtitated the orthodox accounts of this case and others. As Skelly said, and what he is apparently doing, is not only to recall these cases but also to challenge the orthodox accounts and provide us with new evidence signifying probable miscarriages of justice - as he did in the Cameo case and as he is doing in the Cranborne Road case.
