This is a bit of a long shot - I have received a query from a fello wship enthusiasts and was wondering if anyone has any information:


"In 1941 Liverpool Fire Brigade took over 2 vessels WHISTLE THISTLE & WHISTLE THISTLE IV both from owners in Llandudno for use as Firebaots.

Can you advise us what type of vessels these were and provide any details?"
