Although Sefton Jct - Fazakerley closed back in 1988, the line from Bootle to Aintree still sees occasional use. The pic on the left shows 37410 on a road learning jolly on 25th July 2007 for forthcoming engineering work at Town Green. The pic on the right is 60029 at Orrell Road on 3rd August 2007 working 6L95 Town Green - Crewe Basford Hall.
