Hi, Mandy.
I hope you don’t mind me asking, but could you please try and find if there are any Wheelwright premises in the West Derby area, around 1850 to 1890.
Thanks.
Stan.

Please can someone look up Bessemer Street in the Dingle for 1911 onwards and see if anyone called Lee (surname) lived there and also Williams and Roe....thank you so much !
Can anyone tell me if there'e a Thomas Cleverley listed in either the 1936 or 1938 direcories, should be in Toxteth (maybe Twiss St.).
Thanks.
It does indeed Mandy, thanks very much, you're a good'un.

Welcome to the forum Joe. If you live in Liverpool, you can access all the street directories up to about 1970 at the Liverpool Record Office on the 4th floor of Central Library, William Brown Street. They also have the electoral rolls listing those of voting age who live in a given street each year.
Hi Joe
after a change in my plans I'm going back to the LRO this week. will look them up for you.

Hi Joe
no_one called Alf but that may have just been a name he was known as. (my gtgrandpa was called Abraham, but everyone knew him as Jack). So I've copied down the 1966 list as that was the only one available at the time. LRO was quite busy today. Maybe you'll recognise the surname.
Odds first...these are as in the book...Where numbers are missing they'll either be vacant houses or were possibly bombed during the war...in caps so they are clear to read....
