About 20 minutes ago at 04.40 hours I went to Seacombe Ferry to take a few Liverpool photos..
It was too cold and windy so gave up..I have noticed 2 BBC live covarege lorry is based at Seacombe Ferry car park,it is like aready for action...First I thought for New Year celebration but thinking it is very early to do set up for that....Is anybody know another reason...Is it going to be something else befor New Year?

Enjoyed an Xmas meal at the Queens and a New years eve pint at the Telegraph (And Nags Head..)
Went for a break from work today to relax and try more settings on my camera... Heres Parkgate Sunset Scenes, Old station at Willaston, The Willaston Windmill and Sunset at West Kirkby for you....
A coupe from the Old Station at Willaston. Great place to visit!
The old Windmill at Mill Lane, Willaston.
Sunset from Parkgate. The sun is setting over the Welsh Hills. Love the sunbusts of the first one!
Sunset at the Marina at West Kirkby.
And a bit of fun. These guys turned up at Parkgate just to take photos of their prides and Joys. Not a Girlfriend in sight! More than happy to let us take a couple of snaps though... Cheers lads!

Totally amazing! Silverbeech Road has not changed a bit in nearly 60 years, the only thing I can see is the cast iron lamppost replaced by a concrete one. I was born in a house just off Silverbeech Road and played at that very spot as a kid. I bet the tree-covered pond in park the other side of the fence is beyond recognition though.
So that's what is built where the pre-fabs stood. "Temporary" postwar housing built on one of the larger bomb sites the prefabs survived, if memory serves, into the 1970s. The Post Office and the corner of Borough Road are recognisable. The electronics shop where I bought my first transistor radio in 1962 is, of course, gone.
My grandparents lived over and ran a petfood store at 38 Poulton Road, a block away and known as 'The Spot Shop' for reasons lost to history. Fancy glass canopy for the pedestrians from an earlier age. Unsafe to scale to clean to windows above it even in the 1950s. According to Google it is now a charity shop. Across the road was Igoe's grocer's shop with the proud and silly slogan "Wordsworth pouring over, inset - Telegraph Tea, it's fine when it's wet." Jones's the milk bar, all the junk (secondhand) shops, ah all so long ago and so far away today. Here on the California Coast it is a cold day - that's what we call 58F - cold :-)
Yes, the Amercians still use Fahrenheits to this day, wierd eh?
