I am researching my family tree and am doing ok on my fathers side (McPoland traced to Caryl St and Jago to 23 Park Street) however I have hit a big brick wall when it gets to my mother's side I know that my nan was Nuttall and her mother's surname was Core (and that she was about 7ft tall) they were from Garston and I think that they ran a business but not sure what? I believe that they lived not far from Bryant and May. My grandad's surname was Wales and I know that his mother's name was Williams. Both my mother and father grew up in speke

Any help, ideas or memories would be really appreciated.
