Hi Ged, I dont know that much about the musical myself, as I was engaged to him when I was 17 and I am in my 50s now. . I know I bought the book 99 Heyworth street, which was written by his brother Tony Bryan, he also did the narration in the theatre production, my ex John Bryan did the music and lyrics, his sister Maureen also had a part in the production, he used to be in a couple of bands back in the late 60s early 70s. He was the lead singer and used to play the piano/organ, The bands where called Rogues Gallery, then he went onto being in a band called The Starliners( Who had number ones in , Norway or somewhere like that) I dont know much more than what I have already told you, re, 99 Heyworth Street, I do know it was on The Empire for a while.

My family moved to Tommy Whites in the mid 60's when the houses off Heyworth street were being demolished.
I remember of the Chiocci's (Chalkies) but never knew any of them.
At that time I think there was an old Mrs Chiocci and quite a few sons.

My wife went to school with a couple of the girls - St. Johns, Fountains Road I think. Joe Chiocci came into our secondary school on Prinny Eddy in about 2nd year (1974/5)
