    Default Penrhyn Street

    Hi

I am looking for information about Penrhyn Street in 1922. If you had an address of 26 Penrhyn Street, would you be living in one of the slums or a newer house? The address is not given as a court.

Also, 85 Mile End, would this be a court dwelling?

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Default Penrhyn st in 1922

Here is the very street you are looking for in the very year you are looking for too - must be your lucky day - get the lottery on.

As you can see, the very same houses that are there today are being built behind the slum clearance property, thus allowing for the road to be widened at the same time.

Picture from the Liverpool records office.

Penrhyn street No. 3 court in 1913.

These are the slums that will be getting cleared on both sides of the street in the above pic. Can't remember which side of the street is even or odd numbers though. Pic from LRO again.
