    Default St George's day

Next Wednesday 23rd April, I bet hardly anyone realises. I noticed on Friday that there were English flags tied to a number of lampposts on West Derby Road, probably something to do with Churchills butchers there. I'm sure he was told to take them down a few years ago, but glad he's sticking to his guns. There were Irish flags on Vauxhall Road for weeks after St Patricks day and nobody seemed to object.
