Atlantic Terrace is a nice peaceful haven for a quiet pint on an elevated position for some photies. The Tradewinds Bar was once our first pub on the 'bottom end' pub crawl we used to do taking in The Pig & Whistle, Tom Halls Tavern, The Corn Market, The Slaughterhouse, Trials, The 1st National, The Queens and The Liverpool (though it was The Mona back then)
The Terrace can be accessed without the need to go into the Hotel and get the lift up or purchase a drink. Simply use the outside staircase which is facing 'Old Churchyard' entrance to St. Nics Gardens on Chapel Street.
This sculpture which appeared on here many moons ago can be found in the enclosed courtyard down below.
