Thanks for the vote of confidence Kev. On this occasion I don't know !!! I would have thought if any place was once called Mount Pleasant in the Garston area, it would be in the area of Garston Hospital. I've not seen this name on any old maps but that doesn't mean it didn't exist.

Thanks guys. I have a contact in Australia doing mutual family research and he wanted some photos of the locations.
I've come across an old ( ca 1954) newspaper cutting recording the demolition of Mount Pleasant, Garston. It seems it was sited on the hill behind Kettle Nook next to Garston Hospital. It was the name given to a small group of houses. Hope you can read the text in the attached photo of the newspaper cutting.
